MEXICAN FEATHERGRASS

Sun/part shade; deciduous with soft wispy foliage. It goes dormant in winter and during extreme drought. Give it good drainage and don’t water more than once per week. Feathergrass reseeds readily. Although it can become a bit weedy in the wrong setting it’s one of the best ornamental grasses for the dry limestone ledges of far north Bexar County. With proper placement it makes a very pleasing mass that contrasts well with architecture and strongly formed plants.
