LITTLE-LEAF SAGE

Partial sun. A small, mostly evergreen salvia, blooming year-round, especially in spring and autumn. Little-leaf sage is similar to Autumn Sage but quickly distinguished by its neater, more compact form and its leaf veins and serrated edges (Autumn Sage leaves are smooth). Its strong sage fragrance has been likened to black currant. ‘Hot Lips,’ ‘San Carlos,’ and ‘San Luis’ are available varieties.
